Relationship Advice to Keep Your Honeymoon Romantic

Relationship Advice Romance Stress

Relationships advice is probably the last thing you'll be expecting to need on your honeymoon; after all, it is, by its very nature, supposed to be a totally blissed-out, romantic break. But stress, breakdown in communications, and maybe even some personal hang-ups or problems could all threaten the equilibrium, unless you take steps to keep the romantic vibe alive!

Stress Free Planning

One of the best ways to ensure your honeymoon is stress free is to iron out any potential niggles before you go. If there are on going issues which cause bickering, or things you know are a potential hot spot, then talk about them before you jet off! Make a pact to not raise certain issues during your break if you know they could escalate into a full blown row.

Tempting Treats

Let romance blossom and bloom between you by organising lots of lovely treats and trips throughout your honeymoon; you could organise a massage, or a special dinner, or just make lots of time for simple walks on a moonlit beach, or a picnic whilst watching the sun go down.

Pack some gorgeously scented candles and luxury toiletries to get you in a romantic mood after a long days sightseeing – sweet smelling massage oils (or solid massage bars that melt on contact with the skin) and heady and exotic bath oils are sure to help raise temperatures and keep the honeymoon spirit going!

Just sitting back and enjoying the moment – be that on the plane, at your destination, or over dinner, is another important factor to consider. Don't be in a rush to do things all the time – doubtlessly you will have been advised to take a step back at your wedding and realise it was actually your big day, and to take a few moments to drink it all in. Do the same on your honeymoon. Don't let everything pass in a frenetic blur that leaves you with a camera full of pictures, a bag full of souvenirs, but very little time for each other!

Leisurely lie ins, breakfast in bed, lazing by the pool, just vegging out and enjoying each others company without pressure to race about 'seeing the sights' or filling the camcorder will ensure you both stay relaxed and chilled out – which in turn will make for a more romantic, stress free trip!

Top Tips for a Romantic Honeymoon!

Look your best – your comfy-yet-saggy old nightie and moth eaten slipper combo will not cut the mustard on your honeymoon! Invest in pretty undies and nightwear you feel comfortable, confident and sexy in!

Leave work and home at home! Don't bring your work or family related problems on your honeymoon – turn off your mobile phone, redirect your emails and just enjoy your time together – the ping of your mobile phone or ding of your email alert could completely kill the moment if it goes off during your precision planned romantic encounter!

Don't have unrealistic expectations – at the end of the day, although you want it to be perfect, a honeymoon is just a holiday – and if things don't go one hundred per cent to plan, you have got the rest of your life to put them right!
